Assis. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Nur Esen’s project titled " The Use of Radiotracer Method for Measuring the Flow Parameters in a Lab-Scale Constructed Wetland " was entitled to receive support from IAEA .
Research project titled “The Use of Radiotracer Method for Measuring the Flow Parameters in a Lab-Scale Constructed Wetland” was funded by the International Atomic Energy Agency within the scope of five-year coordinated research project (CRP) “Development of Radiometric Methods to measure and study hydrodynamics of constructed wetlands (F22076)”.
The objective of this CRP is to develop radioactive tracer methodologies for hydrodynamics studies of constructed wetlands to reduce water pollution and protect the environment, contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The CRP group includes colleagues from twelve participating countries Bangladesh, France, Ghana, Greece, Malaysia, Pakistan, Peru, Spain, Tunisia, Türkiye, United Republic of Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.
