Research project titled “Determination of Sorption Behavior of Cobalt-60 Radionuclide of Natural Dolomite Mineral” was entitled to receive support by ITU Scientific Research Projects Department.

The aim of this project is to reveal the sorption potential of the dolomite mineral in Türkiye for its use as a low-cost natural sorbent for the removal of cobalt-60 radionuclide, a fission product with a long half-life, from aqueous solutions.
